EDUCATE
Inclusion is a philosophy that embraces the idea that everyone has something of value to contribute and that everyone has a right to belong. Teaching youth to share and accept each other’s differences is part of building an inclusive culture that shields students with disabilities from bullying. Numerous studies have documented that students with visible and invisible disabilities are at greater risk of experiencing bullying than their peers. Encouraging empathy and kindness helps our most vulnerable, and it positively impacts the entire student body.

Elementary School Program
Separated between K-2nd and 3rd-5th, the primary goal is to teach these age groups about growing their friendships with others and learning that everyone has their own "something" that makes them unique. Students may meet "Blossom the Bee" as she tries to "fit in" with their class, enjoy coloring activities or explore their own differences to build their own "hive of inclusion".
Middle School Program
Focuses on the tween to early teen 6th-8th grade student. These years are traditionally very challenging for ALL students, so the focus is on creating an understanding and inclusive environment. Students will engage in a hands-on workshop to simulate a disability, to destigmatize or take the mystery out of things we don't personally understand to build empathy.
High School Program
Specifically geared to the 9th-12th grade student, this program's goal is to enrich the experience of including the students in the Special Education department who are traditionally educated in separate programs. Like the middle school program, students will engage in a hands-on workshop to simulate a disability to destigmatize the differences. Additionally, the focus is on understanding and patience, to help foster social connections across campus.
Beyond School
If your workplace currently employs or is interested in employment opportunities for the special needs population, this program is for you! The hands-on workshop is tailored to build understanding, patience and acceptance for those with different abilities. This program will help build confidence, bridge the gap in understanding, and support a welcoming environment to a whole new group of eager employees!
